A young boy hides in the attic, peering through a window. Fear shadows him, yet curiosity pulls him closer, as he habitually fiddles with the frame, gazing and dreaming of the world beyond. Occasionally, a random beam of light sneaks in, tearing a sudden rift in the long-standing darkness. This was his first twenty years of growing up.

This body of work marks the beginning of Bo’s photographic practice, featuring the first ten rolls of film he shot. Through a narrative rhythm that moves between night and day, Bo constructs a time tunnel for his memories. In this visual archive, scattered memories are rearranged. Amid the mingling of private emotions and traces of the past, Bo explores themes of self-identity, desire, and the dislocation of time. The attic, once a hidden space, has become a metaphorical darkroom — a place to project, record, and ultimately reimagine inner landscapes. 2024 First Edition 2025 Second Edition | Photo London & Peckham 24 ABBF Book-flipping video |
